I got this recipe from Paul Dean on the cooking channel so I had to give it a try - if you never have seen her you need too! She is from the South and everything she cooks has a lot of Buuuutttar as she calls it.
2 packages broccoli slaw
2 packages of oriental top roman noodle
1 package of oriental seasoning
1/4 cup slivered almonds
3/4 stick butter
1/4 cup apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup packed brown sugar
3/4 cup Canola oil
Combine oil, cider, brown sugar and 1 packet of oriental seasoning mix in a small bowl then pour over broccoli slaw. Take 3/4 cup butter in a frying pan with crushed top roman noodles and almonds and sauteed until golden brown and top the slaw.
FYI - Per Paula Dean she said it tastes better the second day so I would make it the night before and then add the topping before serving.
